Our records indicate that the above property was transferred during 2021.

As provided by State Statute the Taxable

Value (TV) of a property must be the same as its State Equalized Value (SEV) in the year following an ownership

transfer (section 211.27a (3) of the Michigan Compiled Laws). This is referred to as "uncapping" Taxable Value.

You are hereby notified that the Taxable Value (TV) of this property will be "uncapped" for

2022. This change will

be reflected on the assessment and tax rolls as follows:

Tax Year

2022

Taxable Value From:

$180,810

To:

$194,200

$1,072

Tax Year

2023

Taxable Value From:

$189,850

0

$203,910

$1,126

Tax Year

2024

Taxable Value From:

$199,342

To:

$214,106

$1,182

Tax Year

2025

Taxable Value From:

$205,521

To:

$220,743

$1,231

This change in taxable value will increase your adjusted tax bill by approximately:

$4,610

The Ingham Country Treasurer will be sending adjusted tax bills to cover any additional taxes owed for prior years.

The current year taxes will be adjusted by the Lansing City Treasurer.

If you wish to appeal this "uncapping" of the Taxable Value, you must file an appeal to the Michigan Tax

Tribunal (MTT) within 35 days of this notice. If you elect to proceed with an appeal to the MTT, you must File

a small Claims Petition Form, which is available at www.michigan.gov/taxtrib. The MTT will then send you a

Notice of Docket Number.

If you have any questions regarding these procedures or the uncapping of the property, feel free to contact

Jennifer Czeiszperger 517-483-7624.

Respectfully yours,
