The 2026 Inflation Rate Multiplier is: 1.027.

Property taxes are calculated on the Taxable Value (see line

1 above). The Taxable Value number entered in the "Change from Prior

Year to Current Year" column, does not indicate a change in your taxes. This number indicates the change in the Taxable Value.

State Equalized Value (SEV) is the Assessed Value (see line 2 above) multiplied by the Equalization Factor, if any (see line 3 above).

State Equalized Value must approximate 50% of market value (see line 4 above).

IF THERE WAS A TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP (see line 5 above) on your property in 2025, your 2026 Taxable Value will be the same

as your 2026 State Equalized Value.

IF THERE WAS NOT A TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP

on your property in 2025, your 2026 Taxable Value is calculated by multiplying

your 2025 Taxable Value (see line

1 above) by 1.027 (Inflation Rate Multiplier for the current year). Physical changes in your property

may also increase or decrease your Taxable Value. Your 2026 Taxable Value cannot be higher than your 2026 State Equalized Value.

March Board of Review Appeal Information:

The Taxable Value, the Assessed Value, the State Equalized Value, the Property Classification, or the Transfer of Ownership may be

appealed by filing a protest with the local Board of Review.

Protests are made to the Board of Review by completing a Board of Review

Petition Form.

Check which of the following you are appealing: (check all that apply)

True Cash and Taxable Values

Please Explain the Reason for this Appeal:

The assessed valuation exceeds the True Cash Value of the subject property as of December 31, 2025. Petitioner includes an independent, professional real estate

appraisal completed by a licensed Michigan appraiser, effective as of December 31, 2025, with this submission. This appraisal demonstrates a True Cash Value of

the subject property at $585,000. This would establish a Taxable Value of $292,500. Taxable, assessed and capped values should all be reduced.

The taxable value was partially uncapped as a result of some improvements that were made to the property. The partial uncapping was in excess of the amount

that should have resulted from the uncapping. The petitioners appealed to the local Board of Review, which provided an inadequate reduction to the assessed

value and left the taxable and capped values unchanged.

The appraiser notes that Comparable #2 was the most weighted based on “similar amenities and the least amount of adjustments” and includes the recent 1,094

square foot addition on slab, which added a family room, 3 bedrooms, bath and 636 square foot garage. They also note that the kitchen is dated with exception of

flooring and that the deck and seawall are older.

The current assessment does not reflect true market conditions or the actual physical and economic data of the property as demonstrated in appraisal report.

State Equalized Value (SEV} is the Assessed Value (see line 2 above) multiplied by the Equalization Factor, if any (see line 3 above).

State Equalized Value must approximate 50% of market value (see line 4 above).

IF THERE WAS A TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP (see line 5 above) on your property in 2025, your 2026 Taxable Value will be the same

as your 2026 State Equalized Value.

IF THERE WAS NOT A TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP

on your property in 2025, your 2026 Taxable Value is calculated by multiplying

your 2025 Taxable Value (see line 1 above) by 1.027 (Inflation Rate Multiplier for the current year).

Physical changes in your property

may also increase or decrease your Taxable Value. Your 2026 Taxable Value cannot be higher than your 2026 State Equalized Value.

March Board of Review Appeal Information:
