Section 4: Explain Your Answer to this Appeal
The 2025 assessed value does not exceed 50% of the subject property's market value.
The petitioner purchased the condo on 11/04/2024 for $288,000. The 2025 assessment
notice had an assessed value of $167,100, true cash value of $334,200.
On March 10, 2025 the petitioner attended board of review and the board lowered the
assessed value to $162,400, true cash value of $324,800. Property values have been
increasing over the last few years and the 2025 assessed value reflected this increase
of value that had occurred since the property was purchased in 2024.
