JOINT MOTION TO EXTEND DATES

NOW COME the parties, through counsel, and state as follows in support of this

Joint Motion to Extend Dates:

1.

This case involves parcel 41-14-25-401-006 located

in Grand Rapids

Township.

2,

On August 18,2025, the Tribunal Issued

a Notice of July 16-31, 2026

Prehearing General Call and Order of Procedure that, in part, set the Valuation Disclosure

Page 3

3.

The parties are in the process of exchanging information regarding the property

and have engaged in good faith discussions in an attempt to resolve this matter. The parties

continue to attempt resolution and need additional time.

4.

Given the foregoing, and that it will greatly assist the parties and increase the

likelihood that 1) settlement may be achieved, and 2) that the valuation disclosures provided by

the parties will present the Tribunal with the most accurate and representative data with which

to reach an independent conclusion of true cash value, the parties are asking the Tribunal to grant

this motion by extending the valuation disclosure deadline by at least 60 days and place this

matter on the September 16-30, 2026 Prehearing General Call and Order of Procedure.

5.

Granting this Motion to Extend

is proper under Tax Tribunal Act, MCL

205.732(c), which provides in pertinent part, “(t)he tribunal’s powers include, but are not limited

to....(c) Granting other relief or issuing writs, orders, or directives that it deems necessary or

appropriate in the process of disposition of a matter over which it may acquire jurisdiction.”

6.

Given all of the foregoing, there is good cause for the Tribunal to grant this

Motion to Extend, and granting this Motion is appropriate under the Tribunal’s February 18, 2022

Notice, MTT 2022-3. Notice MTT 2022-3 states in pertinent part: “the Tribunal will grant a first

motion for extension or, at the very least, partially grant a first motion for extension if the motion

is a joint motion filed by all parties in the case.” As mentioned, this is the parties first request for

additional time.

WHEREFORE, the parties request that this Honorable Tribunal grant the parties” Motion

WHEREFORE, the parties request that this Honorable Tribunal grant the parties” Motion

b. If a valuation disclosure is required, file and exchange their valuation disclosures

by March 19, 2026. Valuation disclosures will not be admitted into evidence

unless disclosed and furnished in accordance with this Order (even though
