OTTAWA ST., LANSING, MI 48933 · 517-335-9760 PO BOX 30232, LANSING, MI 48909 · Other Carriers: 2407 N. GRAND RIVER AVE., LANSING, MI 48906 September 15, 2026 Sheryl L. Saliba wolf.s411@yahoo.com RE: MTT Docket Number 26-002257 Dear Ms. Saliba, The Tribunal is in receipt of your correspondence requesting a refund of the petition filing fee in light of the request to transfer your case to the Small Claims Division. Petition filing fees are determined and “shall be paid upon filing . . . .”1 [Emphasis added.] Although it was accidental, at the time of filing, the Entire Tribunal Division was elected, which requires the payment of filing fees. Filing fees cover costs of initiating an appeal, establishing an electronic file and docket number, and processing the appeal. In this case, all the above procedures were accomplished. Therefore, unfortunately, your request for a refund is denied. Sincerely, /s/ Samantha MS Welton Chief Clerk 1 TTR 223(1).
