City of Flushing Board of Review Minutes July 21, 2026 William O'Connor called the July 2026 Board of Review meeting to order on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 4:40 p.m. at Flushing City Hall, 725 E. Main Street, Flushing, MI 48433 Members Present: William O’Connor, Chairman Michelle, O'Connor, Member Troy Neva, Member Members Absent: None Others Present: Heather MacDermaid, Assessor and Board of Review Secretary Meeting Open to the Public Correspondence: A letter was received by the Board of Review from Eric Blaufarb regarding 55-26-552-140. Nothing requested in the letter or attached correspondence is under the jurisdiction of the Board of Review in July. Approval of Minutes: Motion by Troy second by Shelly to approve the March 2026 Board of Review minutes. All approved. The following items were addressed: 1. 55-26-552-242, Charles & Patricia Stewart (in person). Requesting a disabled veteran's exemption for Charles for 2025. The VA granted him 100% permanent and total disability 3/25/26, effective 2/28/25. Motion by Troy second by Shelly to approve. Motion granted. 2. 55-34-626-024, Connie Epperson (written). Requesting a poverty exemption for 2026. Motion by Bill second by Troy to approve. Motion granted.
