To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to inform the tax tribunal that my initial response and petition to appeal the

uncapping of taxable value on my property, which was sent via usps priority mail, appears to be

lost in transit or in some type of doom loop. It has made two trips to the Lansing distribution

center and for some reason is being sent back out to loop or is delayed for some unknown

reason.

The only reason I sent the initial petition on May 4th in hard copy form was because the e-filing

system was down for maintenance.

I sincerely apologize if this creates a duplicate petition, payment, and filing. I am hopeful that

this online filing today, May 14th, will override the hard copy one, if and when it arrives. I do not

want to risk going over the 35 day response window.

Best Regards,

John Maxey
