Section 4: Check which of the following you are appealing

[wi] Principal Residence Exemption

Od Qualified Agricultural Exemption

Section 5: Explain the Reason for this Appeal

Principal Residence Exemption was denied because property is held in an LLC.

PR Exemption would be granted if the property was held in a Trust.

Why the different treatment, both are separate entities?

Itis in an LLC because

| let it out through AirBnB, (less than 15% of the year).

It is an easy way to supplement my retirement income.

And LLC status protects me from personal litigation. Just smart risk management.

| live in this property 24/7/365, even when letted out to an AirBnB guest.

It IS my Principal Residence, so

| am petitioning for the PR Exemption just like

the code intended.

Section 6: Jurisdictional Issues

Indicate who denled the exemption under appeal:

Assessor

County Treasurer or Equalization

Michigan Dept. of Treasury

Board of Review
