The current assessment significantly exceeds comparable market values in my neighborhood, as demonstrated by the comparative property data submitted with this petition. 2. My property taxes have increased disproportionately compared to similar properties in the area, suggesting a potential inaccuracy in the assessment. 3. As a foreign national new to the U.S. property tax system, I was unable to attend the March Board of Review due to my unfamiliarity with the appeal process and timeframes. I respectfully request consideration of these extenuating circumstances. Based on the evidence to be provided, I request a fair adjustment of the property's taxable and assessed values to align with actual market conditions.
