I dispute the special assessment finalized by the Township Board on September 14, 2026. The assessment violates due process, lacks the required statutory

petition under MCL 247.391, and provides zero special benefit or increased market value to the property, which has no legal deeded right to private road and I

utilize a public road for ingress/egress. The Township has delayed proving full documentation via FOIA until Oct 14th.

 Section 5: Jurisdictional Issues

Did you protest the special assessment at the hearing held to confirm the special assessment roll?

 No

If Yes, what was the date of the hearing held to confirm the special assessment roll?

 If No, explain:

We were not notified this vote was on the agenda. I did ask the Township Board to rescind this illegal special assessment at the Oct 5th board meeting and they

 denied.

 Fee Information

A fee of $100.00 is required for the filing of a Special Assessment Appeal.
