STATE OF MICHIGAN GRETCHEN WHITMER GOVERNOR DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING AND REGULATORY AFFAIRS LANSING MARLON I. BROWN, DPA DIRECTOR 2 of 3 I am appealing the 2026 true cash value and taxable value of this commercial self-storage property. The assessed value exceeds the value supported by the property's income-producing capability. The property generated approximately $45,059 in gross income during 2025 and incurs ongoing expenses including property taxes, snow removal, lawn maintenance, utilities, insurance, and maintenance. Supporting documentation is attached. I request a review using the income approach to valuation and a reduction of the assessed and taxable values to reflect the property's actual market value.
