Section 5: Explain the Reason for this Appeal

- Comparable properties are assessed lower. Properties in similar size, condition and

location to mine are assessed at a lower value. This demonstrates a lack of uniformity

and fairness in the assessment.

-

| am also appealing the assessed value due to a substantial increase in proeprty taxes

from $3,900 to $8,400 following the uncapping the taxable value.

| understand that

uncapping allows reassessment at market value following a transfer of ownership,

|

believe the new assessed value does not accurately reflect fair market value of ,y

property.

-1 am requesting a review and adjustment to ensure the assessment is fair, equitable

and reflective. As ths has made my home barely affordable and unsaleable.

Based on sales analyzed back two years that are similar in condition, sq footage and localton, my home is unfairly being assessed.

Above please see the chart showing the purchased price In 2023 with the SEV ratio and the current SEV ratio based on an appraisal

| just had performed by a certified appraiser. There are homes that have sold since the tima | bought my home and within the same year

that have fess of an assessed value.

1 would like to have my assessment lowered to what is believed to be more in line with

the accurate amount based on the information above.
