Our taxable value is over-inflated with lack of supporting home prices to justify it. Our home was built in 2023 by a builder for $454,000. The land cost $115,000.

This represents an arm's length transaction completed in the open market. There is no evidence to support that our property would sell for more than $300,000 of

its verified total cost. I provided comparable and recent sales to the township board of review, suggesting our home would sell for $690,000, and they denied our

appeal.
