Good afternoon I have contacted the City of Detroit Assessor’s Office on your behalf and received the following response in red. No additional adjustments will be processed by Wayne County. Payment for the uncapping can be made to Wayne County via USPS, Kiosk, Website, Phone or by appointment only. The taxpayer`s PRE was denied per the city audit for tax years 2022-2025. We have applied the PRE for the 2026 tax year going forward. The taxpayer will need to file an MTT appeal for the denied PRE years. Thank you Lynn M.
