Please Explain the Reason for this Appeal:

My father filed an Affidavit for Disabled Veterans Exemption for his property taxes and it was denied. The box checked on the denial states that he is not a

disabled veteran that qualifies. There was no further explanation as to how they came to this conclusion to deny. On the back of the denial form under Line 9, it

clearly states that the veteran must be a resident of the state, which he is, and meets one (1) of the criteria. He meets the first requirement, and provided the

documentation. He is 100% disabled, receives benefits at the 100% rate, and unemployable the paperwork from the Department of Veterans Affairs showing as

such was submitted with the exemption. He is 80 years old and purchased this property in 2025, and then had an assessable home built on the property, which is

now his principle residence.
