STATE OF MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING & REGULATORY AFFAIRS MICHIGAN TAX TRIBUNAL SMALL CLAIMS DIVISION 2 of 3 While I understand that the purchase of the home last year triggered an uncapped market adjustment, I believe the current assessed value of $376,200 is excessive. This assessment implies a market value of $752,400, which significantly exceeds the actual market value of the property. We purchased the home in January of 2025 for $560,000 through a standard real estate transaction after the home had been listed on the market for several months. I firmly believe this represents a fair market transaction and thus reflects the true value of the home. Jurisdictional Issues: Did you protest the assessment at a Board of Review? No If Yes, check which Board of Review you attended: If No, please check the applicable reason(s): Appealing within 35 days of receipt of Notice of Uncapping Not required to attend Year(s) Under Appeal: 2025 Valuation Information for Each Parcel under Appeal: Parcel Number: 00035-105-P Classification of Property: Real (check one) Residential (check one) Current Assessed Value as established by the Board of Review: 376200 Current Taxable Value as established by the Board of Review: 376200 What do you believe is the fair market value? 560000 Multiply the True Cash Value by .5 and enter here.
