Fourth St for $725,000 in May 2024. After inquiring about my summer tax bill, | received a Summer Tax notice from Elizabeth Rutiia, Deputy Treasurer of Leelanau Township on June 25, 2025 indicating that my Assessed Value, State Equalized Value and Taxable Value were all $747,200. After discussing this with Barry Wauldron, the Leelanau Township Assessor, he indicated that the calculation methodology needs to be adjusted for properties in the Village with muitiple lots that sold in 2024, and that he would work to help achieve a proper valuation. This valuation also impacts the tax amount for the Northport Village as well.
