The only objections from prospect buyers are that the unit is too small for year round living and that it cannot be used as a STR. I know there was an attempt in May of 2025 to ask the city council to include all of Harbor Side in the STR map and that nothing happened. I have written the city council and the mayor, separately, and have had a dismal response. I'm asking for everyone's help in getting this STR map changed because right now we are the only one's confronting this issue. We may be forced to drastically lower our price which will be used for comparison for future sales. We would appreciate you all writing the city council to ask that they include all of Harbor Side in the STR map so that everyone has the option to rent. There is a city council meeting on Monday, Aug 3 at 7:00pm if anyone wants to attend; we will be there to speak during the public comment portion.
