BROWN, DPA DIRECTOR Section 4: Explain Your Answer to this Appeal Section 5: Jurisdictional Issues List the tax year(s) denied: Check what action prompted this appeal: Notice of Denial of Principal Residence Exemption Denial by Board of Review Denial by Dept. of Treasury Other If you checked “other” above explain: If Petitioner is appealing from a Board of Review denial, check which Board of Review took action: March July December List the date the Principal Residence Exemption or Qualified Agricultural Exemption was denied: Signature *Required Respondent or Attorney/Authorized Representative’s Signature: /s/ The subject property is a parcel of property with an 88% qualified agricultural exemption (“QAE"). There are commercial processing facilities located on the parcel of property related to processing and distribution that make up 12% of the total parcel. These commercial processing facilities do not constitute use that is "primarily agricultural use." See e.g., MCL 211.7dd(d). Therefore, 12% of the parcel cannot qualify for the QAE and the March Board of Review properly denied Petitioner's request for a 100% QAE exemption. ✔ ✔ 2025 3-25-25
