By state law, all delinquent taxes are payable to the Wayne County Treasurer’s Office. According to our records, the 2023 and/or prior year’s property

taxes for the listed property remain unpaid. If these taxes are not paid before March

1, 2025, this property will be FORFEITED to the Wayne

County Treasurer for non-payment of taxes and any person holding a legal interest may lose that interest as a result of the forfeiture and subsequent

foreclosure proceedings.

If the property is forfeited,

a $175 title search fee and

a $30.00 recording fee will be added to the delinquent taxes on March

1, 2025. In

addition, the intérest rate will be increased from 1% to 1.5% per month, 18% per year, retroactive to March

1, 2024, and interest will continue to

accrue

at the rate

of 1.5% per month until paid. Partial payments will

be accepted, however,

in order

to avoid foreclosure,

all forfeited

delinquent taxes, interest, penalties, and fees must be paid in full before the expiration of the redemption period.
