Section 5: Explain the Reason for this Appeal

I would like to have my homes value recapped. This has been my family home for over 40 years. My Dad left me this home and prior to this I lived in the upstairs at

the same address. I am unable to afford the current taxes as they have more than tripled since last year's summer taxes as I am permently disabled and live on a fixed

income. The value of the home at time of my Dads passing was around 29,000 and since the uncapping it rose to 102,300. Please if possible would you recap my

homes value and correct the current summer taxes. Also my home was listed as a 2 unit and it is not a 2 unit-I have never rented the property since my ownership

and has been corrected to single unit.I appreciate your time.
