The reason for the appeal is to hopefully lower the property taxes on my cabin. There are several items that I am being taxed on that are not accurate. The

current tax card has many errors. Road is marked as gravel however it is dirt at best and not passable for several months out of the year making the cabin not

reachable. The site is marked as level, however it is low, I had to bring the grade up by several feet prior to building on piers. There is a detached garage listed

that does not exist. They marked "land improvements" as reading that I added a 6 foot block wall, however no new wall was built, the 100yr old stone is still in

place. The building is marked as "contemporary", however it is a rustic cabin that has no running water, no power available, no well or septic and is not reachable

several months out of the year. Listed as having gas however there is only a wood burning stove/fireplace no furnace. There is zero plumbing however it is listed

as having a 3 fixture bathroom. Marked for having a well which is nonexistent. The square footage is listed as 2256, however it is 1672 as the loft is not

accessible by a conventional staircase. The reason for the appeal is to hopefully have these issues corrected and have the rustic cabin properly taxed.
