I am the new Assessor of Record for Leelanau Township. I assumed the duties from the outgoing assessor, Christy Brow, on or about April 16th, 2025. During the transition I received incomplete information about the number and status of active tribunal petitions, and did not check the docket quickly enough to learn about the above hearing on April 22nd. I became aware of the case upon receiving the order of default. I respectfully request the respondent be restored from default and a new hearing date be scheduled.
