SE RECEIVED Michigan Tax Tribunal JAN 09 2026 P.O. Box 30232 La 3ing Michigan 48909 MICHIGAN TAX TRIBUNAL NOTICE OF APPEAL RE: 2025 DECEMBER BOARD OF REVIEW PETITION NUBER D-62823 Parcel ID 20011577 Property Address: 1219 Ethel, Detroit MI 48217 Property Classification: 401 Michigan Tax Tribunal, In accord with General Property Tax Act MCL 211.7u BY REASON OF POVERTY, The December Board of review denied my request for a property tax exemption, citing as the ONLY REASON for denial : : Valid ID not provided by applicant. (see enclosed letter of denial). I have taken the opportunity to enclose proper ID again. After my review, I noticed in my record of the submission of my application for tax exemption that my ID was enclosed and specifically remember my nephew scanning my ID and presented me with copies. The enclosed copies are duplicates of the same that were submitted. It is my hope that the presentation of my Valid ID (enclosed) will suffice and allow the Michigan Tax Tribunal to reverse the denial and grant the tax exemption. While the exemption was granted each year prior to the death of my husband, last year's denial was based on my name not being on the deed after my husband's passing in December 2023. With my nephew's assistance, completing probate allowed for the correction of the ownership deed but not an increase in income. Please note that any delay in my appeal is because I received the denial letter on Saturday January 3, 2026, although it is dated for December 9, 2025. It is my belief that this appeal should still be timely and within the 30 day period. Thank you for your time and consideration. «py Cordially, ,
