STATE OF MICHIGAN GRETCHEN WHITMER GOVERNOR DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING AND REGULATORY AFFAIRS LANSING MARLON I. BROWN, DPA DIRECTOR 2 of 3 I am appealing the 2026 True Cash Value and Taxable Value because I believe the property's assessed market value exceeds its actual fair market value as of the applicable tax day. I purchased the property in an off-market transaction for $83,000. The property required substantial repairs and renovations at the time of purchase, including work to one vacant rental unit. The current assessment does not accurately reflect the property's condition or its market value on the tax day. I respectfully request that the Tribunal review the evidence, including the purchase price, property condition, and any comparable sales, and reduce the assessment to a fair and accurate value. Jurisdictional Issues: Did you protest the assessment at a Board of Review? No If Yes, check which Board of Review you attended: If No, please check the applicable reason(s): Assessment Change Notice was not properly sent to Petitioner Year(s) Under Appeal: 2026 Valuation Information for Each Parcel under Appeal: Parcel Number: 80078110050006 Classification of Property: Real (check one) Residential (check one) Current Assessed Value as established by the Board of Review: 72000 Current Taxable Value as established by the Board of Review: 72000 What do you believe is the fair market value? 83000 Multiply the True Cash Value by .5 and enter here. This is your contention of Assessed Value. 41500 If you believe the Taxable Value differs from your contention of Assessed Value, enter your contention of Taxable Value. 41500 Electronic Signature *Typing your name below will serve as your signature
